The Democrify Initiative
Democrify is an online platform designed to give everyday New Zealanders simplified access to engage with the often complex realm of politics by presenting information in an easily-digestible manner, and, importantly, to provide an avenue for Kiwis to voice their opinions through virtual voting on laws being passed by parliament. Our mission is to make our democracy more transparent, inclusive, and participatory—proclaiming our voice to our politicians and fellow citizens alike!
Why it Matters
Public trust in democratic systems, across nations and political persuasions, is being challenged like never before. Populations frequently grapple with the disconnect between elected representatives' decisions and the true will of the very people who voted them into power.
